Hey, if sex sells....well, not that we're buying anything...
Naw, actually, I just wanted to share two things:
One and two:
EvilScary is still around and doing a great little WH40K web comics called "Servants of the Imperium". I follow it regularly for a
good laugh.
http://www.servantsoftheimperium.com/comic/index.php?comicid=1
And just recently, a fan of the comic and Deviant Artist herself called Ceressiass did a bit of fan art for our Mr. Scary and one of
his characters.
I thought it was too cool...and probably one of the best advertisements for his web comic she could have done!
Check it out if you like! (rowr rowr)

Wracked with your charm/I am circled like prey
Back in the forest/Where whispers persuade
More sugar trails/More white lady laid
Than pillars of salt/Holding Sodom at bay...

Been following SotI since EvilScary announced it here a long time ago.
That piece of artwork is very nice, I do agree. Much better than the Blanchitsu style for assassins. Brianna looks more like an old Rogue Trader
assassin than the bondage-gear versions that seem to prevail at the minute.

lol! This could be a hint:
http://evilscary.deviantart.com/#/d2t87bo
EvilScary's approaching 40,000 page views at his Deviant Art page, and wanted to collect ideas for a special comic/idea to commemorate the event.
I suggested something very much like this and he said that he'd already done it, and then posted it for us. Either great minds think alike or morons run in the same rut...

Oh, new episodes ... *goes reading SotI again*
@ John; does this work?

"Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?"
"That depends a good deal on where you want to get to," said the Cat.
"I don’t much care where ..." said Alice.
"Then it doesn’t matter which way you go," said the Cat.
"... so long as I get somewhere," Alice added as an explanation.
"Oh, you’re sure to do that," said the Cat, "if you only walk long enough."

Yes. Yes it works.
Thank you very much.
Wouldn't say it was worth the Nudity tag, though.

It did? Huh, sorry, John, I turned the nudity filter off a while ago so wouldn't notice if it did or not.
I suppose Mr. Scary is just being cautious. I recall some of his combat scenes also have a "violence/gore" tag on them as well.

That's being overly cautious. I've seen more skin on Cartoon Network ...

Ah well, I remember an UK article that wanted Kick-Ass banned because Hit Girl, a 12 year old, said "cunt". They didn't mention she also violently
kills a lot of people so I guess that was okay.
I can imagine certain people taking offense and thinking that picture is close to harcore porn.

We live in a funny world don't we.

Overly cautious?
Well, I know Mr. Scary can be aware of his professional rep as a graphic artist, he's probably more caring for that as well. Might be different if he
was doing the art all for fun and had no intention to make a career out of it.

Perhaps. However, I have also seen more skin in trade journals than has been exposed there. A couple of years ago my job took me to the Farnborough
Air Show on one of its "closed" days. I got lucky in that I got to see the Typhoon and the Vulcan flypasts. I also got to see the military
booth-babes. All I can say is that the Russians have an interesting way of selling helicopters.
As for the trade journals, there have been times that we have looked at he ads in them and gone: "That's not safe working gear for a C2 zone!"
It's a bit sad that my training as a RPS takes over in those circumstances.
I merely comment that it is strange where the borders of morality lie.

As it says in my profile:
"Finds it funny that he hasn't been involved in a major nuclear accident - yet."
And I sometimes get to go to Farnborough on the trade days.
Wanna guess?

DAHER, for a quick guess.
But the Farnborough reference makes me think maybe Rolls Royce. They're listed on the UK nuclear sites list with a Derby address..
I live in New Zealand, should i be happy we're nuke-free down here?? Well, as nuke free as anywhere can be these days..

Right the second time! It's amazing what you can do with sufficient Google-Fu.
As for being nuke-free ... That's a matter for the politicians. However, I note that the NZ nuclear-free zone only applies to nuclear weapons,
nuclear-powered ships and nuclear waste dumping. You're still allowed land-based nuclear power plants
I love nuclear power. I suppose it comes from being brought up by my grandmother and having access to encyclopedias that dated from the 1950s.
Certainly it has coloured my opinion. Now, can I have more flashing lights on my laptop?
